Special Board Meeting
11/17/10
The meeting was called to order at 6:10 Pm.
Board members present were Supervisor Boisen, Councilman Wrisley, Councilman LaForest and Councilwoman LaPine. Also present was Audrey Hoskins, Town Clerk.
Motion to go into executive session at 6:11 PM made by Councilman Wrisley. Seconded by Councilwoman LaPine. Roll call Supervisor Boisen-yes, Councilman Wrisley-yes, Councilman LaForest-yes and Councilwoman LaPine-yes.
Exited executive session at 6:25 PM.
Resumed Special Board meeting at 6:26 PM.
Motion to appoint Steve Sayward to fill the recently vacated position of Town Justice was made by Councilman LaForest. Seconded by Councilwoman LaPine. Roll call Councilman LaForest-yes, Councilwoman LaPine-yes, Councilman Wrisley-yes and Supervisor Boisen-abstained.
The 2011 budget corrections were reviewed and discussed.
Motion to adopt the 2011 budget as presented was made by Councilman
LaForest. Seconded by Councilman Wrisley. Roll call Councilman LaForest-yes, Councilwoman LaPine-yes, Councilman Wrisley-yes and Supervisor Boisen.
The need to advertise to fill the Councilman position left vacant by Steve Sayward’s resignation was discussed. An ad will be placed in the paper
for the vacant position.
